Here we go again...
Packing and unpacking are part and parcel of our lives now...
Living out of these luggages for the next few weeks
The movers are here...again
In one day, the whole house was emptied.
It was with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to this wonderful house. It was with great sadness that we have sold away this house...
The Bible talks about a season for everything. So true, when it is time to let go, we just have to let it go.
We will leave for Shanghai in two days time, what adventure awaits us, we are not sure. I just pray that the family stay together, work together and hang tough together in this new country.
Will try to update the blog as often as I can. Understand that blogger is rather difficult to access in Shanghai but will do my best. In the meantime, we ask that you remember us in your prayers as our family make this move. Stay blessed.
awww..you sold your flat? i'd be sad to let it go too...it looked like a nice cosy place. all the best to you folks in shanghai!
ReplyDeletei'm also planning my own big move to the US...you somehow make moving look so easy whereas i'm going crazy and is SO stressed out now! =(
Yes, it is a nice beautiful house. Thinking with my heart, I will never let it go but thinking with my head, it makes sense.
ReplyDeleteMoving looks easy...but in reality, it is tough. The difficulty is multiplied 100 times when your kids are too young to help out :(
Start off, by sorting and throwing away unwanted stuff first!
US...wow, great place with lots of space and wonderful food. I myself stayed there for a year. See my other blog ;)
Yes indeed..luckily for us, we've got no kids so probably much easier to pack! That's why i'm amazed at how you can manage to pack/move from Singapore to USA and back and now to Shanghai again in such a short time span.
ReplyDeleteYah..I've been following your blog for awhile already. Really enjoyed reading about your adventures/experiences in the US. You are a great source of inspiration too! =)
Go with an open heart and an open mind. Makes friends and you will be richly rewarded. However, people in the city tend to be more task oriented...be wise ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it to the fullest before the kids arrive.
