Try disturbing a cub or an eaglet, see what happens. Their mothers will attack you like there is no tomorrow. Even the weakest mother will have Samson's strength when it comes to protecting their young. Imagine when a group of mothers come together, their forces are unimaginable.

Since becoming a mother, I have joined various online forums. I find these forums very helpful. The first one I joined was when I first became a full-time mother and after nine years, I am still with this group - Moms4Moms (M4M). It was created by a mother for all mothers. I have been with them since they started in 2000 and have since found some really wonderful cyber mama friends. We talked freely about anything and everything....pregnancy, babies, kids, husbands, in-laws...celebrities, money, politics....baking, cooking, roasting, cleaning....wrinkles, saggy skin, mini skirt, skinny jeans...the list is endless. We not only could talk about casual stuff but also serious issues, lend shoulders to cry on. And among these stay-home-mums, some were once professionals, such as lawyers, engineers, teachers...and they give really professional advice. Of course, there are also working mums who have their share of problems too. But this is the place where they can find 'refuge'.

Before relocating to Shanghai, I have also joined the Shanghai mama group. Even before shifting here, I already have some good knowledge of the dos and don'ts. They share very valuable experiences about being relocated mums, handling their kids, schools, locals...where to buy and what to buy.

In short, where mamas gather, there is power... infinity and beyond!
