DH and I were at Kai's sports day and he was a very happy boy.Parents, don't overlook such events in your child's life. Yes, to us, it may be some boring event and we would rather be in the cool comfort of our office doing our work than being out under the hot sun watching a bunch of kids screaming their hearts out over some sports events. But to the kids, it means alot. They have spent hours practising, training just for this day to make us proud. The least we, as parents, could do, is to be there for them.
I wish, I wish, I wish he will be a baby once again. The whole irony of motherhood. Sometimes, I wish he will just grow up, sometimes, I wish he is still the little baby, finding comfort sleeping on my chest!
