Hokkaido, Japan (Part II)
Honestly, Mother Nature is very beautiful. A shame indeed to destroy her…
Look at those slopes. I can picture in my mind how beautiful they will be in winter as they transform into a ski mountain
Can you see patches of snow. It was July and the snow has not completed melted. Imagine how cold was winter and how heavy was the snowfall
On the way to the Shimamui Coast
The Shimamui Coast is listed among the best 100 coasts of Japan, is said to be the greatest one in Shakotan Peninsula. There is a walk through pitch-dark tunnel to access one breath-taking view. We were told that this is an open-cut tunnel built by hand for herring transport during the Meiji Period.
Walking into the pitch-dark tunnel. There is always light at the end of a tunnel…are you ready to behold what is ahead…
Awesome view. Can you see the crystal clear water. From such a high altitude, the seabed is so clear. Speechless
Can you spot Kai? He was awe-struck. Sucking in all he could. Let God's creation embrace you, my son
Look at the clear blue sky, the far horizon. I never take clear blue sky for granted since arriving in SH
If you think this is awesome, you haven't seen anything yet….
