Food, glorious food

Having been starved of the real Asian food, when we landed at Japan, also famous for their good food, we, of course had many feasts. Although we did not speak a word of Japanese, nothing could stop us from 'pigging' out. We simply asked the staff to follow us out of their shop, to the display window and started pointing to our orders.

Huge window display of food became our menu

All the food we ate during our seven days in Kyoto...don't be shocked at the amount of food four skinny people could gobble up. Enjoy!

This was the best beef we have ever tasted.

Do not disturb, eating in progress.

A very nostalgic cafe where we had our breakfast. It was like going back to the 70s

At Japan, Kai has almost fully mastered the art of using the chopsticks
